About UsBTR Foundation Services, Inc. was formed in 2001 and is located in DeLand, Florida. BTR is comprised of experienced, competent personnel who specialize in foundation support systems. A full service company, BTR has the resources to provide complete foundation support systems for both private and commercial applications. BTR is a certified dealer/installer for A.B. Chance Company of Centralia, Missouri, manufacturer of the original Helical Pier systems utilzed in several foundation applications.
BTR can install the system best suited for each location to minimize foundation problems associated with typical Florida soils. Helical Pier systems can be used on existing structures as well as new construction where the design engineer feels additional support is needed to accommodate the natural conditions of the construction site. These systems include helical piers with square steel shafts, hollow steel pipe shafts, and Helical Pulldown Micropiles. The use of a particular system is based on the individual site situation and foundation support requirements the designer is trying to achieve. We have used these systems as tie-back support for retaining walls, lighting foundations, and elevated walkways, but their uses are virtually limitless.
BTR also provides complete post and pre-construction grouting services including shallow pressure grouting for stabilization of shallow subsurface anomalies and lifting of existing foundations and slabs, deep compaction and slurry grouting for the stabilization of deeper anomalies and cavities associated with sinkhole activity, and granular soil stabilzation with chemical grout.
BTR also has the luxury of having in-house engineering available through Bechtol Engineering & Testing (BET). With BET, BTR is able to provide complete geotechnical site investigation and analysis along with design services. Utilzing the experience of BET, the most economical foundation support system can be provided for the application needed.
